Smart panel and trim: Our
Standard Siding
Since 1992 we have been using siding that is
now called smart panel and trim by Louisiana Pacific, a wood product
manufacturing company that is dedicated to evolving its product line
with ongoing environmental advancements.
This very structural and durable siding is
engineered OSB (orientated strand board) that resists warping,
cracking and splitting and comes in various size sheets. It looks like a real wood finish with a decorative
vertical grove every 8”. This is a low maintenance, pre-primed
surface that is ready to finish with any color of exterior latex
paint, every 20 to 30 years!
Another great feature we like is the fact that
it is made from small diameter, rapidly regenerating trees and is
treated with environmentally friendly borates to resist rot,
termites, and mold.
A truly green product that uses raw materials
very efficiently and is made with low-emitting safe resins.
LP Smartside has such enhanced durability that
they offer a limited 50 year warranty.

Natural Wood Siding:
We also have a stainable natural ply-wood
siding that has the same 8” vertical grove and is similar in look,
that is available as an option at an extra cost. Please note the

Western Red Cedar:
You can also upgrade to a Beautiful 1x6
V-joint horizontal cedar siding, for those that love the natural

Dura-Temp Plywood Siding:
For Dura-Temp plywood siding add 15% to the base prices of our standard smart panel siding prices. Dura-Temp comes with a standard 6'5" sidewall.
